Tap dancer
Amelia has been a Tap Dancer for over 10yrs having trained under Brandon and Brigid Carter-Chan and is a founding member of Tap NZ.
Amelia has won every major Tap Dance Competition in New Zealand including the PACANZ Tap Nationals in 2024 with Brandon’s Tap Solos.
In 2025, Amelia performed with Tap NZ at World of Dance NZ where she was selected to represent the country at the world finals in Los Angeles. She also performed with Tap NZ as a guest performance in Melbourne for the 10th Anniversary of Grounded Battle of the Arts.
In 2026, Amelia performed as a Company Tap Dancer in Tap Fusion for the opening of the NZ Fringe Festival and guest performed with Tap NZ for World of Dance NZ.
She now continues to pass on her knowledge of Tap Dance to the next generation as an up and coming dance teacher.
