Brandon has been a Tap Dancer for over 20yrs winning the PACANZ New Zealand Tap Nationals in 2014. Since then, Brandon has been teaching young dancers for the past 10yrs towards National and International Competitions. Brandon has also taught across Australia including working alongside original Tap Dog Darren Disney in staging creative works in Sydney. Brandon's students have won many competition titles with Showstopper USA, Tap Vibe Arizona, Get the Beat, Showcase, FYD, Evolution, NZAMD, Auckland Caledonian and NZDA. Brandon's students continue to succeed, having taken out 1st and 2nd at the 2024 PACANZ New Zealand Tap Nationals.
Brandon also engages in Architecture having completed his Masters of Architecture (Professional) at the University of Auckland. Brandon's thesis focused on a new type of theatre by bringing together Tap Dance and Architecture through African Design Principles. In 2022, Brandon won a National Design Competition alongside his team where they were given the opportunity to build their design for the Brick Bay Wines and Sculpture Trail. The project titled 'The Nest' won nine Architecture Awards including four World Architecture Awards at Architecture Masterprize USA.
In 2024, Brandon founded Tap NZ, an Auckland based Tap Dance Company with a strong vision to innovate, collaborate and captivate staging their first sold out show Tap Fusion in Auckland.
In 2025, Tap NZ was invited to present their creative works in Melbourne for Grounded Battle of the Arts and given the opportunity to open the NZ Fringe Festival in 2026 with Tap Fusion.
Brandon is now working alongside Cameron to present two exhibition performances at the World of Dance Finals in Los Angeles and the Orange County Tap Festival in Anaheim.
Brandon has also attended the Australian Tap Festival as well as working for the Stockholm Tap Festival in Sweden alongside 40 other countries where he danced and learnt from the Masters of Tap Dance including the legendary Savion Glover.
